Policies

At Tied Together, every porch is thoughtfully designed and prepared specifically for your home and season. The policies below help us provide consistent, high-quality service while protecting both you and our small business.

 

Booking & Payment

  • A $199 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your installation date.
  • Your booking is confirmed once the deposit is received.
  • The remaining balance is due 24 hours prior to installation.
  • Deposits apply to the selected season and are not transferable to future seasons.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

 

We understand that sometimes life happens. Because each porch is custom-styled and prepared specifically for your home and selected season, the following applies:

  • Reschedule requests made more than 7 days prior to installation may be accommodated based on availability.
  • Deposits are non-refundable.
  • If your new installation date falls within the same defined season, your deposit may be credited toward that rescheduled booking.
  • Rescheduling outside the originally selected season requires a new booking and deposit.
  • Cancellations within 7 days of installation result in forfeiture of the deposit.
  • Cancellations within 72 hours may result in forfeiture of additional payments made.

Season start and end dates are determined by Tied Together and confirmed at the time of booking.

 

Season Definition

 

For booking and rescheduling purposes:

  • Spring: March – May
  • Summer: June – August
  • Fall: September – November
  • Holiday/Winter: December – February

Rescheduled bookings must fall within the same defined season to receive deposit credit.

 

Client Responsibilities & Installation Access

 

To ensure a smooth installation:

  • Porches and entryways must be clean, cleared, and free of debris or hazards.
  • Personal items, packages, toys, and décor not being styled must be removed prior to arrival.
  • Pets must be secured away from the installation area.
  • Electrical access must be available if lighting is included.

If the installation area is not safe or accessible upon arrival, the appointment will be cancelled without refund.

 

Installation Methods

 

Your home is treated with care.

  • We use damage-free, removable installation methods such as Command hooks and removable adhesives when necessary.
  • We may use existing hooks or hardware already installed on your home when appropriate.
  • New nails or permanent hardware are never installed unless itis required.
  • If permanent hardware is ever required, it will only be installed with your explicit approval and a signed waiver of liability.

Tied Together is not responsible for issues related to pre-existing surface conditions (paint age, material type, weather exposure, etc.).

 

Weather Policy

 

Seasonal decor lives outdoors and may occasionally be affected by weather.

  • We will make a reasonable effort to return and reposition items if weather shifts them, when scheduling allows.
  • Weather-damaged or lost decor items will not be replaced.
  • If replacement items are requested, they may be available for an additional charge, and substitutions may be required based on availability.

Company-Initiated Rescheduling

 

In rare circumstances such as illness, emergency, or severe weather, Tied Together may need to adjust your installation date.

If this occurs, you will be notified promptly and offered either:

  • The next available installation date, or
  • A full refund of any payments made, including the deposit.

Clear communication is always  our priority.

 

After Installation

  • Once styling is complete, we will send photos via text or email to confirm installation is finished.
  • The design is considered accepted upon completion unless concerns are shared within 12 hours.
  • We recommend avoiding moving decor pieces to preserve the integrity of the design. If decor is moved after installation, we are not responsible for any issues it may cause. We will not return and restyle an installation that has been moved or re-arranged.
  • Any live plants provided by us are healthy upon delivery, if there is a problem within 5 days of installation, contact us and we will work out a solution together. However, it is the clients responsibility to ensure living plants are cared for. We will not be responsible for damage due to lack of water, over watering or lack of care.

Use of Photos

 

Photos taken during installation may be used in the Tied Together portfolio, website gallery, social media, or marketing materials.

We make every effort to ensure no personal or identifying details (such as house numbers) are visible.

If you have specific privacy concerns, please notify us prior to installation.

 

Agreement

By booking with Tied Together, you acknowledge and agree to the policies outlined above.
